A 65-year-old head of a university in Colombia survived four days on only his urine and a few plant stems.

While attempting to capture photos of the brightly coloured wood duck the man ventured off track in search for a dried up pond he found himself lost in a swamp.

Following the rules of being lost he stayed on the same island("a log and raised mud about 3 meters long") for his entire ordeal.

On the final day after surviving on urine and plant stems he was discovered by a police helicopter and made  a remarkably quick recovery.

When attempting to buy two tickets for himself and his pony he was refused service by staff, to which the man stated "I know the law".

The unknown man then took his pony for a trip in the elevator and a journey over a bridge to the platform. He was then refused access to the train by a conductor.

After a brief argument the man cut his losses and left the station.

A German insurance company has not only offered, but they have gone through and rewarded their top 100 salesman with an orgy with prostitutes in a renowned Hungarian spa.


About 100 top salesmen had been invited to the orgy, which featured numerous scantily clad hostesses and about 20 prostitutes, Ergo insurance spokesman Alexander Becker said.



"All measures have been taken to prevent a repeat of such an event," Mr Becker said.


Those responsible for the June 2007 event - dubbed an "incentive trip" - have left the company, he added.

My pokemon project

Instead of posting news articles I have been busy working on a web project of mine. What I am aiming for is an online version of the gameboy advance game, Pokemon.

I have currently created a simple little website which allows user registration, login and to check your Pokemon party/PC. It does not look like much but there is a hell of a lot of coding behind it to ensure the websites security.

In the video bellow you see my progress. It's a quick look into the user control panel and the actual game play. And if you are wondering, the game will be exactly the same in the sense of battles, training, wild pokemon, gym leaders but it will have completely new maps and will be multi player.

My game progress so far, still a lot more to go.

Don't let the crappy map put you off, it's just for testing. The layout of the control panel is going to have a lot more done to it. Remember this is still in the very very veryyy early stages of development. And just in case you got the wrong impression, you will have to catch your own pokemon. Typing pikachu and receiving a pikachu is just a little easter egg I put in place to help with testing the game.

For all those who are interested in this project. The game itself is purely javascript, no java or flash. Since javascript is rendered slightly different depending on the browser it is currently only for firefox though. It's being done in standard web languages: html, css, javascript and php.

Europe allows Viagra for children

The usage of Viagra has been approved as a form of treatment for children aged 1-17 in Europe;

Pfizer, a European drugmaker has announced that the European commission has now approved for children. But don't worry it's not for what you are most likely thinking, it is to help treat a rare and deadly lung condition.

Revatio has already been approved in Europe with the treatment  for adults with what's called pulmonary arterial hypertension, or high blood pressure in lung arteries. It can now be given to children aged 1 to 17.

Let's just hope this isn't going to be a take home drug for every day use, i'm sure that could potentially cause embarrassment for the younger patients prescribed with Revatio.

The wife of an Emirati, Dubai man is suing for $10.99 million for not having sex for 4 months after marriage.

The Emirati man who was not named suffers from erectile dysfunction and could not attend to his wifes sexual needs. After 4 months of not having sex his wife has claimed that it has caused her mental anguish and has sued her husband for $10.99 million in compensation.

"Considering the conservative Arab values, and the woman's situation in such a society, I remained silent and tried to adapt by praying to God that things would improve," she said.

A local high-school student noticed the man climbing from a nearby rooftop while visiting a friends house. He was able to capture a few snaps of the man making his classy escape.

This man may have very well been running for his life though. China has strict anti-prostitution laws which may include the death penalty.

It has been reported that the USA now has possession of his body and that DNA tests are to be held to confirm his identity.

Stoner steals Kispy Kreme truck

A case of the extreme munchies turns into a drug possession and grand theft auto charge.

An Orlando man claimed that he stole the Krispy Kreme donut truck because "needed somewhere to sleep". On board the truck was 338 boxes of donuts and 10 grams of marijuana.

After stealing the truck he was later involved in a minor traffic incident about 160 kilometers away in Ocala.

The Orlando man is now being charged with possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and grand theft auto.  

Rebecca Black Dies in a Tragic Car Crash

Yes the news is true, sadly the recent internet sensation Rebecca Black has been pronounced dead.

Ironically the young Rebecca has been in a car crash in which 3 other passengers have been injured who are yet to be named.

If you loved her or hated her, any young lady like herself deserves the utmost respect.

RIP Rebecca, our wishes are with you.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Trailer

This mid-July the 8th and final Harry Potter movie is set to be released, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2. It's been a decade ever since Harry hit the screens back in 2001, but now sadly it will all come to an end.

New Kids on the Block star finds a new kidney for a fan

Thanks to a single tweet from New Kids on the Block's Donnie Wahlberg and the reaction of his fans, a kidney transplant is now available for Abbie Vicknair.

When Abbie Vicknair was left with a five year wait for a new kidney her friend Bobbette Miller immediately wanted to help. Within two hours of tweeting about Abbie's situation Bobbette couldn't believe her eyes when she saw that Donnie Wahlberg had passed on the message to his 183 000+ fans on Twitter.

After the message had been spread six potential donors had come forth, of the six one was a match.

Abbie and her donor have been put down to have the transplant this June. A what would have been five years has been drastically cut down to only a few months all thanks to the love from a close friend and both the fame and kindness of a celebrity.
